Terms of Service | SelfAI – AI Photo Studio

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SelfAI – AI Photo Studio, including the website at www.selfai.social, the SelfAI mobile apps for iOS and Android, and the web app at app.selfaiphoto.com (collectively, the “Services”), provided by Rocket Digital Limited.

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Your content and license

You retain ownership of the selfies and photos you upload. You grant Rocket Digital Limited a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the Services to you (for example, generating your AI headshots, portraits, and profile pictures).

You confirm you own or have the right to upload and use the photos you submit and that your use of the Services does not violate anyone else’s rights, including the right of publicity and privacy.

4. AI-generated outputs

AI-generated outputs are produced by machine-learning models that aim for high realism but can produce imperfect, biased, or unexpected results. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing or sharing them, particularly in professional contexts such as LinkedIn profiles, resumes, and company websites.

5. Acceptable use

Do not upload photos of other people without their explicit permission.
Do not use the Services to create non-consensual, sexual, defamatory, deceptive, or impersonating content.
Do not attempt to reverse engineer or scrape the Services.
Do not use the Services to violate laws, third-party rights, or platform policies.

6. Subscriptions, credits, and purchases

Some features require a subscription or credits, managed via the Apple App Store or Google Play and processed through RevenueCat. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your platform account settings. Apple and Google billing terms apply.

7. Third-party services

The Services rely on third-party providers such as RevenueCat, Firebase, Google AdMob, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Replicate, Fal.ai, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel. Their use is described in our Privacy Policy. Each provider has its own terms and we are not responsible for their independent acts or omissions.

8. Intellectual property

SelfAI, the SelfAI logo, the AI Photo Studio brand, and all related marks, software, and content are owned by Rocket Digital Limited or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Services in a way that creates risk for us or other users.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Digital Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Rocket Digital Limited harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Services or your breach of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong, except where mandatory local law gives you the right to bring claims in your home jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on the website.
