Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing or using SelfAI you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using SelfAI. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use SelfAI. By using SelfAI you confirm that you can form a binding contract under applicable law.

You are responsible for keeping your SelfAI credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Notify us at hello@rocketdigital.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.

• Paid plans are sold through the Apple App Store, Google Play and our subscription platform RevenueCat.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• App Store and Google Play purchases are subject to the platform’s refund policy. Web purchases follow the refund terms in your order confirmation.
• Taxes are added where required by law.

SelfAI uses third-party AI image models, including Replicate (xAI Grok Imagine Image) and Fal.ai, to generate AI headshots, portraits, profile pictures and avatars from your selfies. AI-generated photos are inherently probabilistic. We do not guarantee that any specific output will be photorealistic, identity-accurate, suitable for a particular use case or free of artefacts.

You must review every AI photo before publishing it. You are responsible for confirming that an AI photo accurately represents you for the context in which you use it (LinkedIn headshot, CV photo, business profile, dating profile, etc.).

You retain ownership of the selfies and photos you upload. To deliver the AI photo studio you grant Rocket Digital Limited a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, transform and display your uploaded photos and the AI-generated photos solely to operate, secure and improve SelfAI.

We do not use your selfies or generated AI photos to train public AI models. We do not sell your photos.

You agree not to:

• Upload photos of anyone other than yourself, or photos you do not have the right to use.
• Generate AI photos of real people without their explicit consent.
• Use SelfAI to create deceptive, defamatory, sexual or harassing imagery, including non-consensual intimate imagery.
• Misrepresent AI-generated photos as unedited photographs in contexts where authenticity is legally or contractually required.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or interfere with SelfAI’s services or third-party providers.
• Use SelfAI to violate any law, regulation or third-party right.

SelfAI, including its software, design, logos, brand assets, and generated style libraries, is owned by Rocket Digital Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use SelfAI as permitted by these Terms. App Store and Google Play badges are trademarks of their respective owners.

SelfAI relies on third-party providers including RevenueCat, Firebase, Google AdMob, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Replicate, Fal.ai, Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. Their terms and privacy notices apply to data they process on our behalf.

SelfAI is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Digital Limited disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. AI photo results may vary and are not a replacement for legally required identity documents (passports, government IDs) where original photographs are required.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Digital Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data arising out of your use of SelfAI. Our total liability for any claim related to SelfAI is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rocket Digital Limited and its officers, directors and employees from any claim or demand arising out of your misuse of SelfAI, your violation of these Terms or your violation of any third-party right, including the misuse of AI-generated photos.

You can stop using SelfAI at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Sections that are intended to survive termination (Sections 6, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 14) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The courts located in Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
