5. AI image generation and your photos
When you upload a selfie to SelfAI, we transmit the photo to the AI image providers listed above only for the purpose of generating your requested AI photo. We do not use your photos to train public AI models. Generated AI photos are kept in your account so you can re-download or delete them.
You can delete uploaded selfies and generated AI photos from inside the SelfAI app at any time. Deleting your SelfAI account removes your photos from our active systems within 30 days, subject to backup retention windows of up to 90 days.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The SelfAI website uses essential cookies for security and performance, plus analytics and marketing cookies set by Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel. Where required by law we ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are set. You can withdraw consent at any time using your browser settings or by contacting us.
7. International data transfers
We are based in Hong Kong and use service providers located around the world, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and the United States. Where personal data crosses borders we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms.
8. Data retention
We keep your account and AI photos for as long as your account is active, plus a short period afterwards for backups, fraud prevention and tax/accounting requirements. Aggregated, de-identified analytics may be retained indefinitely.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Contact us at hello@rocketdigital.ai and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
10. Children
SelfAI is not directed at children under 13 (or under the minimum age required by your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal data to SelfAI, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use encryption in transit, hardened cloud infrastructure and tightly scoped access controls to protect SelfAI data. No system is ever 100% secure, but we work with our providers to keep your AI photos and account information safe.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the SelfAI app or on this page. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
